We've invited Penrith locals to take part in 'Stories From Here'— a free creative workshop program to learn how to turn any local story into a mini documentary.

Do you have a story to tell about someone you know? A local sports hero? Or someone doing great things in your suburb? 

Participants are supported by local filmmakers and mentors who will guide you through planning, filming and shaping your story.

No experience is needed, just curiosity, commitment and a passion for telling positive stories about your community.

Celebrating stories from Penrith! 

Over the past few months, five Penrith locals have been learning about the art of documentary filmmaking. Now it's time to celebrate their work.

Join us for this free community showcase:

  • Saturday 18 July from 2pm to 4pm
  • TOMS Anglican Church, Cranebrook
  • Everyone is welcome & entry is free.
