Do you have a story to tell about someone you know? A local sports hero? Or someone doing great things in your suburb?  Participants are supported by local filmmakers and mentors who will guide you through planning, filming and shaping your story. No experience is needed, just curiosity, commitment and a passion for telling positive stories about your community. ![](//cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/24105364/raw_assets/public/@marketplace/if_else_agency/Aesthetics/assets/images/icons/arrow-down.svg) - ![](https://madeinthewestcreative.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/2026_07_18_Stories%20From%20Here%20(MITW)-48_resized.jpg?width=2560&height=1707&name=2026_07_18_Stories%20From%20Here%20(MITW)-48_resized.jpg) Filmmaking 101 - ![](https://madeinthewestcreative.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/2026_07_18_Stories%20From%20Here%20(MITW)-60_resized.jpg?width=2560&height=1707&name=2026_07_18_Stories%20From%20Here%20(MITW)-60_resized.jpg) 2026 Stories From Here - ![](https://madeinthewestcreative.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/2026_07_18_Stories%20From%20Here%20(MITW)-134_resized.jpg?width=2560&height=1707&name=2026_07_18_Stories%20From%20Here%20(MITW)-134_resized.jpg) Filmmaker Shaye Fox - ![](https://madeinthewestcreative.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/2026_07_18_Stories%20From%20Here%20(MITW)-102_resized.jpg?width=2560&height=1707&name=2026_07_18_Stories%20From%20Here%20(MITW)-102_resized.jpg) Filmmaker Brigetta Gates - ![](https://madeinthewestcreative.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/2026_07_18_Stories%20From%20Here%20(MITW)-103_resized.jpg?width=2560&height=1707&name=2026_07_18_Stories%20From%20Here%20(MITW)-103_resized.jpg) Showcase Audience ## Showcase Event Details ### Celebrating stories from Penrith!  Over the past few months, five Penrith locals have been learning about the art of documentary filmmaking.
