The Brief: Catalyst West is an annual multi-industry conference, hosted by Western Sydney University, with a unique opportunity to centre the arts in industry conversations. Made in the West CREATIVE was commissioned to produce four short films to screen at Catalyst West between programmed conference panel discussions.

Four Cities, Four Films: Our mission was to represent the stories of artists in Bankstown, Blacktown, Parramatta and the new airport city, Bradfield, through the lens of four distinct creative narratives. Made in the West selected local filmmakers with unique insight into each city, guiding them through the creative process, and supporting their production teams through to completion.
