Made in the West is a local production company with a long-standing connection to the Western Sydney film community.

We are a social enterprise, which means that we generate income through trade like any other business, but we are also committed to reinvesting at least 50% of our profits back into our community.

Our annual program of festivals, workshops, networking events and internships all help build a stronger and more resilient creative industry in our region.

Working in the creative industries can be challenging alone. Work can be scarce, competition is fierce, and often you are asked to contribute your time for free.

We're here to create change for Western Sydney filmmakers by generating quality paid work that makes us all proud of where we come from.

Joining our talent pool is easy. There are no sign up fees, no minimum hours, and no obligations to take on a job when it's offered.

We'll source new creative projects, negotiate good rates, and then invite artists like you to collaborate with us on work.
